La Fitness is the absolute worst gym

on earth.

I'll say some of the people I dealt with at the whitemarsh Bally's now turned La Fitness were ok to pleasant to deal with. Had an idiot who calls himself nick call me and he was ignorant and plain rude. Told me the first month's payment i made when i signed up was the 30days prior to that. when i asked him why I have to pay for a time prior to signing up he tells me that's how it works. Ask him a few other questions and he gets the audacity to hang up on me. Call back and speak to even more stupid girl who uses the word "um" ten times in a single sentence. From the look of things, someone was telling her what to say because when i ask the questions, She goes "hold on" listens and then answers me.

Either way, I walked to the gym and cancelled my membership today. I did pay that balance they couldn't charge to my card and when i asked the guy what happens to the last month payment i made when i signed up, he then goes your membership is good for another month from now. I'm going to use it because i really need to practice my swimming. In hindsight, I regret cancelling my membership at the YMCA. The Y has a clean facility, courteous and professional staff. Their equipments are newer and better. When they said you get a 1hr free whatever with a personal trainer, they did honor their word and I got to work with someone who was very helpful.
My free personal trainer whatever at La Fitness was a scam. Lady asked me a few questions and said, these are your options. Options being different types of rates for signing up for personal trainer. When i said i'm not interested in signing up for this now, she just said you know where my office is at.

After researching La fitness cancellation, It's clearly obvious this is the worst. When I ask the girl what happens if i don't pay the due balance, she tells me we'll keep calling you and everyone for all the memberships will keep calling you till you make that payment. The stupid thing is that like the person who told her what to say when she said hold on, she wasn't smart enough to realize that I can change my phone number or block their stupid calls.
I need a gym membership now so i can incorporate exercise into my whole studying routine. I can definately suck up to running outside in may and then that's it.
I'm really glad that membership is cancelled and I hope no one in their right mind signs up with LA Fitness.

if you study, it will come

I've been working hard since friday. Part of me regrets doing nothing wednesday and thursday.

Anyway, I completed 3 chapters yesterday (would like to say today but it's midnight now). i did bio 2-4 today. I got 2 reds for 2 and 3 and all greens for chapter 4. i color code my scores. I'm really excited. 92.5% on phase 2 of bio 4. i did poorly in the phase 1 which is why i completed one extra passage to make my average for that phase not look too bad.
Anyway, i'm happy.

One wierd, but great, thing about microsoft excel: In the general sciences workbook, i usually write the phase name, the raw score and percentage and highlight with a color. Earlier today when i entered the first 2 scores, it automatically highlighted yellow and i thought it was because the cells above those 2 were highlighted yellow. When i entered the last score tonight, it automatically highlighted the light green color which isn't a regular color (custom one actually). i'm a little surprised at how it picked up the trend because i just don't enter numbers, i actually enter phrases followed by the number(score) and percentage. it's wierd it picked up the trend but i'm loving it. I just hope it realizes that any score below 60% merits a red. so far it recognizes the yellows and green.

Anyway, this is the best day i've had in terms of studying. i completed myreading lab, read a few online pages about logic ( i really need to read the Gensler book), went to the gym, watched ncis LA, surfed the net, cooked, AND reread 3 chapters in TBR and completed the required questions. SUPER!!!

Running

It's been a while since i went to the gym. Put running on the back burner in the summer to study, then i got lazy. Anyway, i decided a little exercise won't hurt so i got on the threadmill today and it wasn't bad. Only did a little over a mile, ran half of it, walked the rest. I plan to at least get to the point of running 1 mile by the end of december. Then i'll up it from there.

I also read my kindle while i was on the threadmill. It actually kept me distracted which is a good thing.
